From Strategic Communications to Regional Leadership: The Inspiring Journey of Lina Salah

Some careers are built through years of experience, while others are shaped by purpose, resilience, and the courage to work in challenging environments. Lina Salah’s journey reflects all three.

With over 12 years of experience in strategic communications, media, and political analysis, Lina has built a distinguished career helping organizations navigate complex issues, communicate meaningful stories, and engage audiences across the Middle East.

Her journey includes more than a decade with the U.S. Department of State, where she worked across strategic planning, public affairs, media, and communications. She later brought her expertise to organizations including UNDP Jordan, DAI, and EnCompass LLC, contributing to major development and communications initiatives.

In 2025, Lina joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), where she served as Palestine Digital Field Communication Officer for Gaza. Today, she has stepped into another significant milestone as Regional Media Manager, MENA, leading regional media engagement and strategy across the Middle East and North Africa.

Along the way, Lina has earned recognition including the Chevening Scholarship and the Superior Honour Award from the U.S. Department of State, while completing her Master’s in International Relations from King’s College London.

From analyzing complex information to shaping powerful narratives, Lina’s journey is a reminder that when expertise is guided by purpose, a career can become a platform for meaningful impact.
