Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Sign MoU to Strengthen Security Cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral security cooperation, marking another step forward in the strategic partnership between the two countries. The agreement was signed during a meeting between Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and Pakistan’s Interior Minister and Minister for Narcotics Control, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, in Riyadh.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the longstanding relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and discussed ways to expand security coordination between their respective interior ministries. They also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in the security sector.

The newly signed MoU focuses on promoting collaboration in scientific research, professional training, and the exchange of expertise between the two ministries. The agreement is also aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve security and law enforcement capabilities in both countries.

The latest development reflects the continued commitment of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to deepen bilateral cooperation and enhance coordination on security-related matters through closer institutional partnerships.
